Villa Soleil has a lot to offer for those who want an active vacation. Within easy driving range you will find nice beaches and much more. The national park, Parc de Vaugrenier, is situated a few minutes from the Domaine, and is worth a visit for a walk or a jog.
The pool area is usually open from Easter in March / April to October, and may be used free of charge by our guests. The fastest way to get to the pool from the house is to cross the “valley” on foot.
Two beautiful tennis hard courts are available to the guests. Contact the Gardien to get keys or reserve time on the court. You will find tennis racquets in the closet at by the house’s entrance.
There are also four tennis courts in Biot, which can be rented by the hour. You can reserve the court for two hours at a time, up to 48 hours in advance. The courses are open from 7 am - 22 pm.
There are great golf courses in the area, the closest are situated outside Biot and Valbonne — only a 10-20-minutes drive from Villa Soleil.
Experience beautiful Villeneuve-Loubet on foot! The area around Villa Soleil is great for hiking. You will find great hiking trails and walking paths almost anywhere you turn.
Every day you may enjoy a colorful roof covered market in Antibes. Here, you find delicious, fresh, local food, amongst other exciting temptations. Every Tuesday, there is also a huge food market in Nice, very worthwhile visiting. You will also find several local markets in close proximity of Villa Soleil.
The closest beach is on the seafront of Villeneuve-Loubet Plage train station. The beach is public, but never crowded. Necessary facilities are offered on the beach. Note that this is a pebbly beach, not a sandy beach.
Nice and sandy beaches can be found outside Antibes. Taking the train is the easiest way to reach the sandy beaches of Juan-les-Pins, Cannes, Cannes-le-Bocca, Mandelieu, or Theole-sur-Mer in the high season. The trains run regularly to and from Villeneuve-Loubet-Plage train station, a 5 minutes drive from the Domaine. From the Cannes Le Bocca train station, you can walk straight out on the beach. Have refreshments in a picnic bag from Villa Soleil with cooling elements you find in the freezer.
Among the private beaches in the area, we recommend Plage Keller in the bay of La Garoupe just off Cap d'Antibes, and La Jettée or Belle Rives in Juan-les-Pins. We advice you to choose these beaches taking the wind direction into consideration (the wind should go from land to sea). Note that these places are quite expensive.
